太原理工大学材料科学与工程学院

    太原理工大学焊接专业成立于1958年，现有材料成型及控制专业（焊接方向）和焊接研究所两个教学研究机构，教师及研究人员20余名，其中博导2名、教授3名、副教授5名、高级工程师4名。其上级学科“材料科学与工程学科”具有博士后流动站、一级博士学位授权点、硕士学位授权点、“材料加工工程”为国家重点学科、“材料成型及控制专业”为山西省品牌专业。至今已培养焊接专业本科生2000余名、博士硕士研究生60余名、大专生100余名。2001年起与哈尔滨焊接技术培训中心联合培养过渡期国际焊接工程师60余人，在校生国际焊接工程师50名，焊接技师30名。
    承担国家自然科学基金项目多项，所研究成果获得过2001年国家科技进步二等奖，获省部科学技术奖励几十项。出版专著7部，发表论文300余篇，专利30余项。
    Welding major of Taiyuan University of Technology was founded in 1958. It is composed of two institutions of teaching and research, one is the major of materials molding and control (welding aspect) and the other is the welding research institute. There are more than 20 faculty including 2 Chief faculty advisers of Doctor, 3 professors, 5 assistant professors and 4 senior engineers in the major. Its superior subject “Materials Science and Engineering” has a PhD flow station, first level doctor degree awarding spot and a master degree awarding spot. The subject “Materials Processing Engineering” is the state key subject and the major of “Materials Forming and Control” is awarded as “Brand Major” of Shanxi province.
    Over 2000 undergraduates, 60 masters and doctors and 100 junior college students have graduated from our university. More than 60 transitional IWE, 50 IWE of undergraduates and 30 IWT have been trained since 2001.
    We have undertaken many National Nature Science Foundation projects and our research achievements have been awarded as the second prize of “National Science & Technology Advancement Prize” in 2001 and “Science & Technology Encouragement Prize”. 7 monographs and more than 300 papers and 30 patents have been published during these years.
